Since our establishment in 2009, we’ve consistently employed individuals who live by passion, quality, integrity and value. Our team has successfully grown and is now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join full-time.



Reporting to Senior Management, the Project Manager is responsible for the day to day management of select residential land development projects from beginning to end and executing the project successfully.  This includes project setup, management of project financials, coordination of land selection, coordination of engineering drawings, contractor selection for projects, management and monitoring of the construction program, execution of the sales and marketing programs, responding to inquiries and other duties as necessitated by the nature of each project.  The Project Manager will be responsible but not limited to the following:     



  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Monitoring and reporting on current status and activities of projects, including the management of project financials and budgets.

  • Work with vendors and head office to ensure timely and cost effective purchasing and payment for materials

  • Supervise, coordinate, track and analyze manpower and associated costs

  • Work closely with site supervisors and project team to manage overall execution of each project

  • Regular liaison with builders and show home personnel to determine and report on issues and successes.

  • Direction and execution of project sales and marketing program.

  • Regular follow up on subdivision/ builder performance and understanding of key market economic drivers and competition.

  • Resolution and follow-up with identified project issues.

  • Advise management of pending risk elements and seek assistance on all risk matters or legal matters.

  • Ensure health and safety of all Dolce Vita employees, clients, trades and visitors to job sites and offices in a manner that is compliant with all applicable legislation regulations and corporate safety


  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in business or engineering, with a strong understanding of financials

  • 6+ years, project management experience

  • PMP Certified is preferred

  • Proven experience leading large project teams

  • Class 5 Drivers License


  • Exceptional communication, organization, leadership and problem resolution skills

  • Well-organized, confident individual with the ability to prioritize work, multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be able to competently manage the construction process from project startup

  • to project closeout for all sizes and levels of complexity projects.

  • Self-starter, ability to obtain complete and accurate resolutions from company or industry resources

  • Ability to make decisions on a variety of levels of complexity, ambiguity and risk.

  • Can identify, assess and manage risks while striving to meet objectives

  • Networking and relationship building

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project
